Our History Begins Here in the Conejo Valley
In 1979, Wally Dickey founded Conejo Valley Appliance, Air Conditioning, and Heating during his junior year at Newbury Park High School. During the weekdays, his mom handled phone calls, while Wally performed service calls on the weekends.
In 1981, the business became a family affair when Wally’s two brothers-in-law (Jim and Dan) joined in. As business grew, they made the decision to split Conejo Valley Appliance, Air Conditioning and Heating into two separate companies. Jim and Dan took over Conejo Valley Appliance and Wally continued on with Conejo Valley Heating and Air.
Continuing in his father’s footsteps, Wally’s son Branden Dickey took over as CEO in 2005. With white-glove customer service as his cornerstone, Branden has grown the business into the most reputable home services company in the Conejo Valley with a fleet of 70+ trucks and divisions for plumbing, electrical, and generators to help homeowners streamline maintenance of their homes. In 2024, we updated our name from Conejo Valley Heating and Air to Conejo Heating, Air, Plumbing and Electrical to better reflect our breadth of services.
